Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, OASIS COMPANIES INTERNATIONAL will facilitate and scale our arts programs for the benefit of the at-promise youth population in court community and court schools in Contra Costa County.
Organization Summary
Through the OASIS Arts Project, OASIS provides students from Title-I schools with instruction in a variety of modalities, including performing arts (tap, hip-hop, jazz, modern), visual arts (cartooning, creative art journaling, water color, basic drawing, mural arts), and applied arts (architectural design, photography, and digital arts). In an effort to further encourage kids to embrace the arts, we invite mentoring from local professional artists during after school hours, who commit to working with our students to help them discover their own amazing potential. As of 2024, OASIS has impacted over 30,000 students in California. The OASIS Arts Project engages professional artists to provide instruction to students.
