Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, OASIS COMPANIES INTERNATIONAL will work to engage and promote local artists by utilizing their talents and skills to deliver the content of the programs where possible. OASIS Center International is a community development organization, working in partnership with both public and private entities to bring the arts back into the lives of our youth, with an emphasis on underresourced youth in low-to-moderate income communities.

Organization Summary

Through the OASIS Arts Project, OASIS provides students from Title-I schools with instruction in a variety of modalities, including performing arts (tap, hip-hop, jazz, modern), visual arts (cartooning, creative art journaling, water color, basic drawing, mural arts), and applied arts (architectural design, photography, and digital arts). In an effort to further encourage kids to embrace the arts, we invite mentoring from local professional artists during after school hours, who commit to working with our students to help them discover their own amazing potential. As of 2024, OASIS has impacted over 30,000 students in California. The OASIS Arts Project engages professional artists to provide instruction to students.
