With support from the California Arts Council, OASIS INTERNATIONAL will provide students with instruction for OASIS arts programming that will be implemented in a Title 1 school. Our classes are tap dance, cartooning and creative art journaling. We facilitate annual arts festivals, focusing on bringing valuable arts and cultural experiences. We are an outcome based organization that uses qualitative and quantitative research to measure effectiveness and growth of our program.
Through the OASIS Arts Project, OASIS provides students from Title-I schools with instruction in a variety of modalities, including performing arts (tap, hip-hop, jazz, modern), visual arts (cartooning, creative art journaling, water color, basic drawing, mural arts), and applied arts (architectural design, photography, and digital arts). In an effort to further encourage kids to embrace the arts, we invite mentoring from local professional artists during after school hours, who commit to working with our students to help them discover their own amazing potential. As of 2024, OASIS has impacted over 30,000 students in California. The OASIS Arts Project engages professional artists to provide instruction to students.
