NorCal Arts delivers a comprehensive continuum of arts education programs designed to engage students from early childhood through young adulthood. Our Expanded Learning Programs operate as a primary provider for school districts, offering arts-infused learning before school, TK–K programs, after-school enrichment, and intersession opportunities. These programs integrate theatre, dance, music and visual arts with social-emotional learning (SEL) to support whole-child development, creativity, and academic engagement.

Our School Outreach Program serves Title 1 schools across the Sacramento region through arts integration residencies, professional development for educators, and standards-aligned SEL curriculum. Over the past several years, NorCal Arts has delivered programming in more than 500 classrooms, using theatre, music, and dance to deepen learning, strengthen communication skills, and foster inclusive classroom communities.

Through our Outreach Productions Program, we bring fully realized theatrical experiences to approximately 40 schools annually, providing students with high-quality performances and opportunities to participate in productions. These experiences build confidence, collaboration, and a sense of belonging while expanding access to the performing arts.

Our Classes and Camps Program offers dynamic, high-quality training in theatre and film in a fun, creative, and nurturing environment. Students build performance skills, develop their artistic voice, and form lasting connections with peers.

The Performing Arts Corps is NorCal Arts’ premier, in-depth training program for students ages 13–20. This holistic program combines rigorous artistic training with leadership development, college and career counseling, and internship opportunities. Through weekly classes, master classes, performance experiences, and participation in the Leadership Institute, students develop advanced skills in theatre and film while building confidence, professionalism, and a clear pathway toward higher education and careers in the arts.
