The Northern California Center for the Arts (The Center) in collaboration with multiple local organizations, proposes to launch the WorldFest Children’s Chorus, a choir program for children from area schools. This after-school program will bring together children from all cultural and economic backgrounds to learn songs in different languages and from other cultures to perform two concerts at the four-day global music festival, California WorldFest.
The Center for the Arts is a nonprofit performing arts organization that enhances the lives of thousands each year through visual arts, live music, theater, and youth arts education. With a new, dynamic and intimate performance complex, The Center serves loyal patrons and artists and attracts top talent from around the country. At the heart of our work lies a commitment to our community and a desire to bring a diverse array of arts to as many audiences as possible. We believe that a rich arts scene improves our quality of life. Most significantly, The Center for the Arts allows us to deepen our impact on our rural, remote city and community through the transformative power of the arts.
