Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, NORTHERN CALIFORNIA CENTER FOR THE ARTS will launch The Center Student Matinee series offering low and no cost tickets to students ranging from Pre-K through high school. The Center Student Matinee Series will include three high-quality theater and musical performances each year to educate and entertain students in our community. Supplemental materials are available to help instructors connect the stage with the classroom curriculum.

Organization Summary

The Center for the Arts is a nonprofit performing arts organization that enhances the lives of thousands each year through visual arts, live music, theater, and youth arts education. With a new, dynamic and intimate performance complex, The Center serves loyal patrons and artists and attracts top talent from around the country. At the heart of our work lies a commitment to our community and a desire to bring a diverse array of arts to as many audiences as possible. We believe that a rich arts scene improves our quality of life. Most significantly, The Center for the Arts allows us to deepen our impact on our rural, remote city and community through the transformative power of the arts.
