Organization Summary

New San Cai offers uplifting arts, culture, and education, providing a way for people to reconnect through the arts, resulting in shared cultural values and art discussions. “San Cai” is a traditional Chinese term, referring to Heaven, Earth, and People.

Throughout the year, we host various cultural and art events for communities and senior groups, improving their social belonging and artistic appreciation. Our events invite artists to the local communities, connect people with Asian traditions, and generate profound cultural discussions.

We launched our Talent Competition in 2019, reaching over 5,000 art schools, artists, and art organizations. The event attracted artists of all ages, ranging from 12 to 80 years old. We have also developed a range of art programming, including Art Talks, Talent Page, Art Instruction, and The Impressions of the World Exhibition.

The Impressions of the World Exhibition opens a new collaboration among artists, cultural scholars, local establishments, senior centers, and low-income communities to showcase culturally-enriched artistic creations. Along with Art Talks and cultural forums, we provide opportunities for in-depth artistic expression and social experiences.

Through these initiatives, we actively engage with overlooked cultural landscapes in California. We also established several projects to support Chinese and elderly artists with their presentation, digital engagement and social connection.

In an effort to bridge our cultural communities, we have published the first English/Chinese bilingual cultural magazine, featuring a harmonious fusion of content representing different cultures, history, and art. It is distributed widely across California. Our publications provide a unique cultural space for Chinese American communities, facilitating the exchange of artistic ideas and experiences.

At New San Cai, we believe our projects offer society positive experiences through uplifting fine art, culture, and education, providing a way for people to reconnect through the arts and gain inner strength and greater spiritual well-being.
