Since our founding in 1952, MTW continues to be a champion of introducing audiences to professional musical theatre. We make musical theatre welcoming and accessible to anyone who wants to participate.

We strive to provide every resident of Long Beach and surrounding areas with opportunities to encounter, appreciate, participate in, learn and be informed about musical theatre as a unique art form. We aspire to reach a diverse demographic through our Mainstage productions, traveling community performances, and our Education & Outreach programs in partnerships with schools and other public organizations.
