Medium Photo delivers a range of public-facing programs that support career development for photographers and connect audiences with contemporary photographic practice. Our core offerings include an annual Festival of Photography and a series of year-round events that serve high school and college students, educators, arts professionals, and emerging to mid-career artists—primarily from San Diego and across California.

These programs include workshops, portfolio reviews, artist lectures, exhibitions, film screenings, and studio visits. We focus on access and impact by offering free and low-cost events, providing artist stipends, and building inclusive spaces for learning and exchange.
