Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, MANILATOWN HERITAGE FOUNDATION will sustain the historic International Hotel Manilatown Center, a multidisciplinary arts and cultural community gathering space, creative studio and presentation venue. Funds will be used for the general operations of the facility including rent, utilities and staff salaries.

Organization Summary

The Manilatown Heritage Foundation’s core program is to maintain the legacies of San Francisco’s historic Manilatown neighborhood and the 1977 International Hotel Eviction by maintaining the International Hotel Manilatown Center as both a memorial to these legacies and as a multipurpose community gathering space for creative expressions relevant to today’s community.
