Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, MAKARA CENTER FOR THE ARTS will acquire vital business and communication skills at the Business of Art workshop series at the Center for Cultural Innovation and the Art of Presentation workshop at Otis College of Art and Design.

Organization Summary

The primary program of Makara Center for the Arts is its free lending library and art center. Over 1,000 books and periodicals are available for free to Santa Ana communities to support literary engagement, free education, and increased literacy rates. Makara regularly hosts free educational programs including science presentations, creative writing workshops, arts & culture discussions, and family story time.
