Los Cenzontles Cultural Arts Academy amplifies the voices of Mexican Americans and makes visible Mexican American culture through its innovative arts education programming; performance of traditional music and dance, and cross-cultural collaborations; and, first voice media production.

For thirty years, Los Cenzontles has challenged deep and historic marginalization of working class Mexican Americans by projecting a bold and pioneering vision of what an inclusive, representative American identity actually looks like. We do this by investing in young people, community elders, and local culture at all levels, through research, arts creation, teaching, media production, consulting, and administration.
