LAMusArt is a nonprofit arts organization founded in 1945 whose mission is to provide the community of East Los Angeles, specifically its K-12 student population, with equitable, affordable, and continued access to after-school multidisciplinary arts programs. LAMusArt believes that the arts are an essential component of a student’s development, not only in their aesthetic and cultural value, but also in their study and in their capacity to contribute to students’ holistic development.
