In the spirit of cultural generosity and with the goal of creative excellence, we create diverse communities of belonging and self-empowerment with children and youth locally and across the globe through the magic of theater … and we do it all in Iambic Pentameter.

Shakespeare Youth Festival, the country’s youngest Shakespeare Troupe, unites youth ages 6-17 from racially and socio-economically diverse backgrounds and uses the exploration and performance of Shakespeare’s work to foster and increase self-confidence, communication skills and literacy, while building a community of support around shared passions. We primarily serve underserved youth, but our program is unique in that it brings together youth from a variety of backgrounds.
