With support from the California Arts Council, Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center will present student matinee performances by the Oakland Ballet Company, DLUX Puppets, and the Okee Dokee Brothers at the Bankhead Theater, two cultural arts celebrations for California Native American Day and Hispanic Heritage Day, and in-school assemblies for school sites within Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District and Dublin Unified School District.
Livermore Valley Performing Arts Center offers a wealth of opportunities to experience and engage in art. The Bankhead Theater and the Bothwell Arts Center are home to nine resident performing arts companies and over 40 studio artists and cultural arts instructors, offering more than 500 activities each year. An independent nonprofit organization, LVPAC also supports the arts through educational outreach. Students receive reduced-price student tickets, with the program now subsidizing over 1,100 tickets each year. In addition, we have hosted over 130,000 students through participation in field trips and in-school performances.
