Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Lineage will provide 30 weeks of dance education programming to over 280 students, ages 5 to 17, at three Title I schools in the Pasadena area. Students will learn dance elements, vocabulary, and create and analyze choreography. The program culminates with student performances.
Organization Summary
Lineage creates a home for connecting through the arts for the greater Pasadena area by producing public works of dance, theater and music; providing arts education in schools and for amateurs and professionals; and by supporting other artists and nonprofits with production and infrastructure.
