Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Lineage will provide dance education residencies and interactive performances by the Lineage Dance Company for three schools within the Pasadena Unified School District. The program will be comprised of residencies at Altadena Elementary, Eliot Middle, and Muir High school of between 12-24 weeks. Students will learn dance elements, vocabulary, and create and analyze choreography. Residencies will culminate with performances of student work.
Organization Summary
Lineage creates a home for connecting through the arts for the greater Pasadena area by producing public works of dance, theater and music; providing arts education in schools and for amateurs and professionals; and by supporting other artists and nonprofits with production and infrastructure.
