With support from the California Arts Council, KQED will engage audiences, especially those from the Latinx community, through multiplatform content, community engagement, and a public premier of Dear Homeland, a new 57-minute documentary that tells the story of Mexican-born, Bay Area-based singer/songwriter Diana Gameros, as she finally gets her green card and is able to return home to Juarez, MX to visit childhood friends and family, after living undocumented in the United States for 16 years.
