With support from the California Arts Council, KQED Inc. will write, direct and produce a 6-episode season of “Behind the Lens,” a multimedia program highlighting independent filmmakers, with personal stories about their filmmaking processes and the inspirations for their films. “Behind the Lens” will bring KQED video producers together with underrepresented filmmakers and students to build community and share the powerful stories that unfold outside the frame.
