With support from the California Arts Council, Kadima Conservatory of Music will expand our Quartet’s capacity to expose underserved school-age students to experience performances and exhibitions through in-school assemblies. If awarded, CAC Exposure funding will greatly enhance the outreach component of our work to introduce and cultivate diverse musical genres to school-age students in the underserved San Fernando Valley area.
The Conservatory was founded to promote the appreciation, performance and instruction of classical music. Kadima maintains the following core programs:
• Ongoing individual, orchestral and small ensemble instruction to students of all ages and levels
• Free community, senior residence, and school concerts performed by the conservatory’s student orchestras, the Kadima String Quartet, and other faculty members.
• Classroom instruction and demonstrations, music education outreach in public schools and colleges.
