Productions are selected with an eye to resonance to our diverse community and contemporary issues. We prioritize works by BIPOC, gender diverse, and marginalized artists, tackling themes such as race, cultural appropriation, gender identity, and LGBTQIA life.

– Celebrating Voices Storytelling & Playwriting: Engages youth from underserved communities in the craft of storytelling and playwriting.

– Playwright’s Round Table: A workshop series for ethnically and gender-diverse playwrights to develop new works.

– Dramaturge’s Table: Focuses on the development of single plays through intensive collaboration between playwrights and directors.

– Around the Clock: A 24-hour playwriting event promoting creative collaboration.

4. Community Engagement:

– Rant & Rave: A monthly storytelling salon featuring diverse LA writers.

– Difficult Conversations: Post-performance discussions addressing the social issues highlighted in our productions.

– Theatre for All: Initiatives to make theatre accessible to students, artists, and under-resourced communities through discounted and pay-what-you-can performances.
