With Support from the California Arts Council, International City Theatre will fund two educational programs. “Students to Stage,” providing free tickets, study guides, and talkbacks to middle, high school and college students, and “Free Saturday Family Theatre Program,” providing family theatre and education to elementary and middle school students.
Every year, ICT’s five mainstage productions and six education programs (offered throughout the region) touch the lives of approximately 25,000 children, families, adults, and seniors, from every ethnic and economic background, including those at risk of being culturally under-served due to a lack of access to affordable artistic programming. Included in our five mainstage production season, we strive to offer premieres of exciting and challenging new works that are relevant to life today.
Our six education programs include: Performing Arts Classroom Teaching, Low-Income Senior Outreach, Free Saturday Family Theatre Series, Summer Youth Conservatory, Students to Stage, and ICT’s Internship Program
