Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, the Insight Center for Community Economic Development will bring on Alicia Walters as a Artist in Residence Fellow to work on our Black Thought Project. The Black Thought Project is an interactive art installation that transforms public and private spaces into sanctuaries for the expression of Black thought, where Black people are given safe spaces to reflect, are listened to and honored for their experiences and perspectives.
