Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, we will continue developing the Sprayview, an outdoor museum in the Bayview community, an historically African American neighborhood and San Francisco’s designated African American Cultural District. We will partner with native, artist Malik Seneferu and local community Bayview-based gardeners to curate a new mural installation as well as a series of FREE, arts-based public engagements with a focus on health and wellness themes.
Organization Summary
Imprint City produces annual festivals focused in the Bayview neighborhood including the Southside Festival, BayviewSPARC and our largest, staple program, the BayviewLIVE Festival. We additionally produce a myriad of smaller activations including a healing arts concert series at Zuckerberg General Hospital, Bay Splash in partnership with Aquarium by the Bay and the Bayview Harvest Festival in partnership with Now Hunters Point.
