With support from the California Arts Council, Human Resources will offset rent and utilities expenses for twelve-months, and improve our communications infrastructure. This will alleviate the immediate burden of maintaining our physical space, and allow us to prepare a major capital campaign that was rescheduled from 2020 to 2022.
Human Resources LA has a fifteen-year history of supporting experimental, interdisciplinary art practice. Our curatorial principles are guided by a commitment to practices that are hard to support in more traditional spaces, and to performative occupations of installations and exhibitions. Our audience is uniquely diverse — as an interdisciplinary space, we support people who are passionate about experimental music, visual art, dance and performance, and we are committed to creating an inclusive, socially dynamic environment in all that we do.
