Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, Hiero Foundation will be able to curate a day of community-led music, spoken word & dance performances from many of the phenomenal art & music programs in Oakland. In 2019 we expanded our schedule to introduce a “Family Day” with community led activities. In 2020 we hope to formally incorporate performing arts into the event by providing the necessary staffing, staging & sound to give our marginalized community the platform to perform.
