Heat dance studio’s approach to dance is to provide phenomenal, well rounded dance training in an environment that nurtures technique, commitment, determination, dedication, community, and self-awareness and confidence. Heat is dedicated to creating opportunities for low-income youth, primarily black girls, to gain leadership skills, academic enrichment, community engagement, technical arts training and healing. Heat develops well-rounded and technically sound dancers. HEAT stands for “Health Education Arts Therapy”.
