With support from the California Arts Council, HEAT DANCELINE INCORPORATED will provide after-school hours dance training and programming for youth ages 3-18 and dance choreography internships for youth ages 13-24. HEAT DANCELINE INCORPORATED, also known as HEAT DANCE STUDIO, will bring 25-50 youth from Oakland’s underserved black communities to participate in 3 youth Dance Conventions held in Santa Clara, California and 1 National Youth Dance Convention held in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Heat dance studio’s core organizational programs and services include dance training and performance, a competition and performance dance company, a majorette dance team, a mentorship program, educational workshops, internship placements, college tours, leadership development, youth employment, and community service.
