Groundwork Arts’ mission is to ensure K-12 students, their families, and teachers have equitable access to the arts.

Groundwork Arts is dedicated to providing innovative arts education by bringing local artists into schools to work directly with students and partnering with local arts organizations for once-in-a-lifetime opportunities.

Groundwork Arts was created to fill the significant void in arts education, offer professional opportunities for teaching artists, and provide much needed relief to our K-12 teachers.

Groundwork Arts supports our diverse communities and believes that all students deserve access to the arts. We are committed to utilizing our extraordinarily rich and diverse artistic region to provide arts access to our rural, low-income families.
