Project Description

The Golden Valley Music Society, dba California Chamber Orchestra (CCO), is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 2005 with the goal of providing professional classical music performances for residents of Southwest Riverside County and inland North San Diego County. Under the umbrella of California Chamber Orchestra, our organization presents 35-40 classical concerts per season in three areas: by the California Chamber Orchestra; through the Classics at The Merc series, featuring soloists and chamber ensembles; and in educational outreach experiences, including live concerts, in-school assemblies, coaching and workshops for local students. The California Chamber Orchestra is unique in that we are the only professional orchestra in the Temecula/Murrieta area, and produce more performances than other classical music organizations in the valley.
