Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Global Arts will launch a comprehensive orchestra program for students from primarily low-income families. The Orchestra Program includes group instruction by teaching artists, instruments, and all necessary materials.
Organization Summary
We cultivate a nurturing learning environment for youth who come from underfunded neighborhoods; this learning environment is intentionally centered around music, community, and personal growth. Global Arts currently offers group instruction on ukulele, violin, viola, flute, clarinet, trumpet, and trombone.
