The Geffen Playhouse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching the cultural life of Los Angeles through plays and educational programs that inform, entertain and inspire. We believe in these guiding principles:

Artistic Excellence: We will produce theater of the highest caliber. We will secure the most gifted playwrights, directors, actors, and other artists to provide audiences with opportunities to experience their work.

Inspiring and Training the Next Generation of Theater Artists: We will help support the careers of emerging artists through our partnership with UCLA and the professional experiences we provide for graduate and undergraduate students in the art of theater.
