Project Description

SCRAP’s mission is to inspire creativity and environmental stewardship in children and adults by promoting the creative reuse of materials that traditionally have been discarded as waste, with a focus on supporting San Francisco’s under-resourced communities. At the intersection of the environment, art, and arts education, SCRAP is a Bay Area resource for makers of all ages, and everyone who values access to creative experiences. Our mission is to put the materials and methods of art-making in reach of all. Our passion is creative reuse – turning everyday objects into beautiful projects that fuel our spirit and bolster environmental awareness.
