Flockworks was founded to 1) Support, sustain and strengthen community through creative and artful endeavors that engage, enlighten and enliven.
2) Foster Collaborative strategies and partnership with organizations and individuals that increase creative opportunities and resources in the community. and 3) Stimulate leadership and work models that are participatory, flexible and draw on the strengths and talents of those involved. We build community through creativity and believe people of all ages and experience benefit when they share, explore and participate in the arts & creativity. We provide an “platform” for leadership by community artists and mobilize space, talents, time, and other resources to support community art & creative initiatives. We are “smart” and innovative in securing support, expertise and alliances to make things happen. We see art & creativity as an endeavor for all and actively reach out to include to those with little access to creative opportunities.
