FACT/SF creates aesthetically diverse and rigorously crafted performance events that encourage viewers to feel intensely, think critically, and broaden their perspectives. By providing artists and administrators with jobs and performing frequently for the broader community, we increase the visibility and viability of the performing arts, stretching its boundaries and ensuring its survival.

FACT/SF serves four related and distinct purposes. The company is: 1. a platform for producing contemporary dances by Charles Slender-White (Artistic Director), 2. a vehicle for offering cutting-edge dance training to students and working professionals both locally and abroad, 3. a provider of services for the larger dance ecosystem, and 4. an organizer, creator, and promoter of economically accessible arts events which build social cohesion and community by bringing people together.
