Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Embodiment Project will send Executive and Artistic Director Nicole Klaymoon and Managing Director Elenna Nee to CompassPoint’s one day workshop Introduction to Non-Profit Finance which takes place in Oakland in February 2019. Intro to Non-Profit Finance provides a technical foundation for understanding the basic components of a financial management system and serves as an overview of the concepts involved in developing nonprofit financial reports.
Organization Summary
Embodiment Project’s year-round activities include street dance classes for youth and adults; workshops and conversations about hip hop histories; and annual performances of new evening-length works performed in both San Francisco and Oakland in order to reach broad audiences throughout the Bay Area. Our communities served include dance audiences, Bay Area POC communities, street dance enthusiasts, and youth.
