Cultura y Arte Nativa de las Américas–CANA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, committed to preserving and exhibiting the arts and cultures of the Americas. Our main objective is to educate the San Francisco Bay Area on the cultures that exist in the North and South American continents, and to promote dialogue about their importance in our society. Carnaval San Francisco, the largest multicultural festival in the West Coast, is a project that CANA organizes, with the goal of educating people on the Latino and Caribbean traditions of the Americas through music, dance, and visual arts. Our educational platforms and spaces of revelry aim to heal, strengthen, and unite communities of all socioeconomic and ethnic backgrounds through the power of art and culture.
