With support from the California Arts Council, Creative Class Collective will engage artists to produce programs that enhance the community: commission artists to create public artwork, purchase materials and rent equipment to produce artwork, and pay staff salaries to coordinate and execute the project.
Our goal is to establish a creative movement with positive civic impact – making art and culture accessible for everyone. Creative Class Collective’s four programs – Long Beach Walls, Art Renzei, Port City Creative Guild, and Unexpected Connections– all encompass: Art, Community, and Education.
1) Long Beach Walls fills public spaces with art and culture while cultivating community pride with a week-long mural festival.
2) Art Renzei is a multimedia art festival showcasing the natural beauty of Long Beach.
3) Port City Creative Guild nurtures art appreciation in youth, and connects artists to communities.
4) Unexpected Connections brings inventive people together in conversations to drive positive change.
5) Make Noise Today empowers young Asian American voices through a platform of storytelling.
