Community Works West’s mission is to disrupt and heal the harm of our failed justice systems through restorative arts, direct service, and advocacy programs that promote diversion, support reentry, build individual capacity, and connect families. Our long-term goal is to radically reduce the number of individuals entering and re-entering the justice system and to intentionally support communities of color that have been disproportionately affected by mass incarceration.
