Instigated by Keith Hennessy in 2001, Circo Zero makes live performance sparked by current and historic social realities, while center queer bodies and ideas.
Our work is born in the cities, in the repurposed warehouses and factories, in the queer communities where cultural traditions are complicated, reimagined, and renewed, in the independent art spaces where innovation meets the ancestors in unpredictable ways. And here, in these ruins and utopias, we dance.
