Project Description
With the support from the California Arts Council the Chicano Park Museum and Cultural Center will utilize resources to strengthen our artistic and administrative output. We have been an all volunteer runner organization for the past 4 years. We hope to hire an Administrative Director and other administrative staff as well as utilize resources to hire artists to impact programming
Organization Summary
Turning Wheel: Mobile Classroom serving K-12 schools, community centers etc
Community Forums–where we provide visual arts exhibition in conjunction to the topic ie. gentrification, Braceros, Lowrider, etc
Community events that include music, dance, spoken work targeted at seniors, youth etc.
