Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, CHARLES W BOWERS MUSEUM CORPORATION will provide 12,000 low-income, Title 1, K-12th grade students in Santa Ana and surrounding underserved communities, with access to an educational school tours program that aligns to Common Core and VAPA standards. The program, which is experiencing pressing demand, includes pre- and post-tour supporting classroom curriculum, docent-led tours, a related hands-on art project, and a 2-day teacher workshop.
