The Arts at CIIS is a contemporary arts exhibition program that cultivates community engagement with creative and integrative approaches to the urgent challenges facing society today. Through exhibitions, publications, and events featuring emerging and established artists, The Arts at CIIS strives to promote pluralism in the arts, support artists in the creation of new work, and foster dynamic and critical dialogues within and across communities.

Founded in 1968, California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) is an accredited institution of higher education and research where students come to learn experientially what it means to be human in the 21st century. CIIS presents an exciting array of lectures, conversations, performances, workshops, and conferences for both academic and general audiences. These transformative gatherings at the nexus of social justice, creativity, spirituality, health, and ecology serve and strengthen diverse communities throughout the Bay Area and beyond.
