Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles’ (BGCMLA) mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. Our mission is fulfilled by offering nationally recognized, research-based programs and activities in three core areas: Academic Success, Good Character and Citizenship, Healthy Lifestyles.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Los Angeles (BGCMLA) was founded in December 2015 to increase efficiencies, reduce duplication of operations and facilities, and strengthen services to urban communities in need. To that aim, BGCMLA’s collective approach offers a more consistent delivery of programs and achievement of outcomes for kids, thereby increasing the relevance of the Boys & Girls Clubs in Los Angeles’ most vulnerable neighborhoods.
