Project Description

Ayudando Latinos A Soñar is dedicated to giving creative expression to Latino youth and families of Half Moon Bay to celebrate identity and preserve the rich cultures, traditions and values of Mexico and Latin America through our weekly programs of cultural arts, education, counseling and social justice advocacy.
ALAS is committed to inspiring the community through our cultural arts programs of Ballet Folklorico Tonantzin and Mariachi Media Luna. We are building bridges towards higher education for our children through our weekly tutoring and leadership program. ALAS is dedicated to creating healing spaces through the arts and is committed to build relationships and community with one another. As we all live under the same moon, we believe in a social justice model of advocacy for immigrant and human rights. We value each child, individual and family that is part of ALAS.
