Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, Art Saves Lives will produce the Art Ignites series; Three immersive exhibitions in May 2023 featuring photography, painting, and performances honoring the legacy of San Francisco Fire Department through artistic interpretation of the “combustion triangle” – oxygen, heat, and fuel.

Organization Summary

Under the curatorial direction of artist Thomasina DeMaio, ArtSavesLives Studio & Gallery exhibits change monthly. Live model drawing classes are held six times per week, offered free to LGBTQ community members and individuals experiencing houselessness.
