Organization Summary

Our core programs are:
ARTners Art Classes – Drawing and painting fun-to-do hands-on creative sessions open to all ages in our community, businesses, senior living facilities and private parties. Classes are offered at an affordable rate to cover supplies. Classes are offered in the Sacramento County region.
ARTners Visual Art Scholarships – Annually, ARTners offers monetary scholarships to high school seniors active in life along the creative path. Students must submit an application, art samples, and references for consideration. The ARTners board reviews these applications to select the recipients. Awardees are honored with a ceremony with their families present. They receive a monetary stipend, certificate award, present their art journey and join our website student archives page.
ARTgrove Series of Arts & Cultural Festivals – A 5 year series of cultural heritage celebration community events hosted in the City of Elk Grove. Events attracting Northern California with 3000 plus attendees. ARTners has hosted 12 individual events; “Happy Birthday Frida!”, “Dia Las Madres”, our annual Day of “La Concha” & “Dia de Los Muertos”. Educating our community on the significance of these traditions & celebrations of honoring our ancestors and our cultural heritage representation. ARTgrove connects with youth volunteerism and family creative participation engaging with the rich tapestry of Mexican culture. Promoting local artists and their works. ARTgrove strengthens community bonds, fosters cultural understanding, and keeps our cherished traditions alive for future generations.
WXM Community Connector Program – An inclusive opportunity of connecting to the WXM. All age participants draw and paint their own WXM pillar. Created on 3D replicas, Wooden outline 4ft tall surfaces & Linework paper copies. Achieving the goal of the participants’ connection to the WX Mural Museum.

WX Mural Museum – An ongoing project where we are painting 23′ pillars under the I-80 Freeway with murals on CALTRANS property. Working with the City of Sacramento.
