Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Art of Élan will provide its “Young Artists in Harmony,” (YAH) after-school, 10-week residency offered in Spring and Fall in partnership with A Reason To Survive (ARTS), which uses arts to transform the lives of at-risk youth. YAH consists of weekly workshops where Art of Élan musicians mentor student composers in creation of new work. YAH culminates in 2 public concerts that are recorded for online streaming to be enjoyed by listeners worldwide.
