Project Description

With support from the California Arts Council, ‘Anamatangi will provide youth development of transitional-aged Pacific Islander youth through Pacific Islander culture, arts, and language built through integration of media and digital communications to inform collective organzing to uplift Pacific Islander and other communities of color.

Organization Summary

We service:
– Pathways to citizenship and visa types for community members
– Translations in all Pacific Islander languages for community members and our partners
– Youth, individuals and families to local mental health resources
– Youth, individuals and families to local housing resources

Our Programs:
– Take The Mic Youth Program (Journalism, Heritage Preservation, and Civic Engagement for 12-24 year olds)
– ‘Anamatangi Performance Program (Dance and Song Composition for 12 – 24 year olds)
– ‘Anamatangi Small Business Bootcamp (Bootstrap to stabilize business bootcamp program for local small businesses)
