Project Description
With support from the California Arts Council, Ammunition Theatre Company will present more inclusive and underrepresented theater to an expanding diverse audience of expert and novice theater goers in Los Angeles. In addition, funding will allow us to offer more free theater to our growing philanthropic partnerships– providing performance and storytelling experiences for many communities without easy access to such opportunities.
Organization Summary
The company produces full length theatre productions, reading series, and writing workshops that boost opportunities for underrepresented voices exclusively. Each year, AMMO also partners with a local non-profit service organization, volunteering with the organization and striving to amplify their stories by co-producing unique workshops and performances to bring greater awareness to their cause and theatre to their underserved community.
